My name is Nima Vahdani, I’m a Freelance Photographer and Videographer born in 1991 in Rasht, a city by the southern Caspian Sea in Iran, and currently living in Sydney, Australia. I began my photography journey in 2011, I quickly realized that the camera is a powerful way to connect with people and my surroundings. As a storyteller, I dedicate my work to exploring and showing the deeper layers of culture and life through my travel and documentary projects.
Two years after entering the documentary photography, I ventured into the business side of photography. In 2013, I set up my small studio in a room near my home in Rasht, where I began working on business photography alongside portrait and commercial photography, while also adding videography to my skill set.
Photography in my life is a fusion of the “artistic” and “business” aspects, both of which hold significance for me at different stages of my journey. Over the years, I have actively participated in numerous exhibitions and festivals to nurture my artistic side, while striving to enhance my professional skills in photography and videography on the business front.
With this vision and background, in 2017, I launched and managed my professional photography and videography studio, “37 Studio” , in my hometown. I expanded my services to include Wedding, Jewelry, Food, Beauty & Fashion, Events and Concerts photography and videography, and Social Media content creation.
(37 Studio gets its name from the 37th frame of 36-exposure analog films, a frame that always brings a good feeling if you have it!)
Now, as I continue my journey in Australia, I have resumed my professional activities under the same name, 37 Studio.
Throughout my career, I have continuously honed my skills in capturing images that tell stories and evoke emotions. Ultimately, I believe that as a storyteller, every photo I take holds a unique narrative.
